Shawn Ivy grew up in the vibrant 80's of Queens, New York, where her happiest memories were spent exploring the city's diverse bakeries. For her, it wasn’t just a fascination—it was a deep connection to the joy she felt each time she opened the door to a bakery and saw the array of cute, delicious treats gleaming in the display case. The variety and attention to detail captivated her as a child, leaving her with a lifelong love for the craft.

Her passion turned into purpose when her first job was at a local bakery "Down The Hill" from her grandparents' home. It was there that Shawn discovered she had a talent for creating treats as delightful as the ones she loved. During her years working in the bakery, seasoned chefs quickly recognized her potential and took her under their wing, sharing the tricks of the trade and refining her skills.

Years of perfecting her craft led to the opening of her own bakery just outside Asheville, NC. Here, Shawn brings together the best of classic cookies and New York staples like rainbow and black & white cookies. Her treats are distinguished by their execution, quality, and balance—crafted with the finest ingredients, a keen eye for texture, and flavors that evoke the same childhood joy she once felt.
